Dear MDRA Members,
News... The February Awards Dinner & Fund Raiser has moved to a new date! Wives and Girlfriends will be relieved to know that you are not taking them to a fishing club event for Valentines!
Date Change... Was Feb 15th. Now going to happen on March 8th 2014.
There is little fishing happening between now and then. So practice casting on the shore. Clean and repair. Schedule your trips on the calendar ( like the July 27th/28th/29th - for the Ocean Odyssey - 2 1/2 day Tuna Trip). And I'll see you all on Feb. 13th for a MDRA monthly meeting where new 2014 President, John Szymura, plans on covering light tackle.
And a beach fishing event.
And the Fred Hall Show in Long Beach is fast approaching - March 5th to 9th.
And Youth Fishing Chairmen of Tom Janynus and Jack Topal are setting up the summer calendar for the Youth Fishing Mentors training trip ( April or May ) and the 20 boat trips for the kids. 15 days with two trips per day. Wow this is so cool.
