Fished on the Unreel for the recent Battle of the Sexes fishing contest.
My catching was okay but if I wanted to win I'd have to have a good item for the appetizer contest at the docks for the weigh in. The ladies on board were catching more fish than us guys.
Out at the Short Banks. ( Numbers are in the MDRA Book) We had plenty of rock fish. I had one nice one but at 2 lbs was not going to be in the running.
We came in to the near shore waters as the time to go in neared. We fished the Pip for a few drifts. John got a really big and beautiful Cabizon.
See the lovely Lincod in the center of this photo... 5.8 and 6.2 (approx) Nicole (in plad) wins the Battle of the Sexes.
That makes 5 years running the ladies have ruled the day. Till next year.
